About New Road Financial Group

New Road Financial Group was created to help people feel less overwhelmed and more confident about money — especially when things feel confusing, stressful, or out of control.

Like many people, I didn’t start out with a clear financial roadmap. I’ve experienced the stress of living paycheck-to-paycheck, carrying debt, the frustration of trying to “do the right thing” without knowing what actually works, and the mental weight that comes with feeling behind. For a long time, money felt more like a source of anxiety than a tool I could use intentionally.

What changed things for me wasn’t a perfect budget or a strict system. It was learning how to simplify my finances, create a realistic plan I could actually stick to, and build habits that worked even during busy or difficult weeks. Progress came from consistency, clarity, and making small, sustainable changes over time.

That experience is what shapes how I coach today.

My approach is practical, judgment-free, and built around your real life — not unrealistic expectations or one-size-fits-all advice. We focus on understanding where you are right now, identifying what feels doable for you, and building a simple plan that supports your goals without burning you out.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start. If you’re willing to take the first step and have an honest conversation about your finances, we can build a clear path forward — at a pace that works for you.

Wearing myself out and pushing too hard for years didn’t get me where I wanted to go. What finally worked was choosing a slower, steadier approach.
As Aesop’s fable The Tortoise and the Hare reminds us: “Slow and steady wins the race.”
